The Importance of an Annual Exam

An annual exam is a great time to discuss any concerns you may have regarding behavior, diet or health. Most importantly, it's the time when we check all the body's systems, look for lumps or bumps, ear infections, dental disease, access body condition and evaluate your pet's overall health. We ask you questions about your pet's thirst, appetite, activity level and general well being. It is a good time to get to know us when your pet is healthy. In addition, the annual exam helps to develop a trusting relationship which will be reassuring and useful if your pet is ever ill or needs non routine veterinary care.
